Hi, I'm David Masing, a licenced mechanic with over 25 years experience. I did my trade with my father Ron Masing at his business "Coltspeed" in Meadowbank NSW. We did everything from logbook servicing, suspension, gearbox rebuilds, performance work, race car building, MoTeC engine management installation and tuning, general fabrication, machining and engine building from standard to full race.
Over the years I've worked on a vast array of different vehicles and machinery, from standard road cars to high end Porsche 911 Turbos, to scissor lifts and other plant equipment, and from national championship winning race cars to your classic 70s ride that your grandfather kept since new.
Having started my own business "Daves Mechanical" in 2021 I am fully licenced and insured, offering services all over Sydney. My ute is setup as a mobile workshop which provides me with the flexibility to provide on-site servicing and repairs.
I am heavily involved with motorsport and also built and prepare my own race car.
